Quality and Consistency

Upon completion of the Shopping Report, the Shopper is required to fax their written shopping report along with the documentation (i.e. property floor plans, business cards, etc.) to the Ellis Corporate Office within 24 hours of completing the shop. Once their report has been accepted by Ellis, it is then reviewed by a trained Ellis Shopping Specialist. Our report review process ensures accuracy, quality and consistency. Only after the Shopping Report has been reviewed does it then get entered into our system for online access.
 
An email is then generated notifying the Ellis client that the Shopping Report is available for their review. The client can view the report online by clicking on the link contained in the email or logging into the Ellis website using their user ID and password. Shopping Reports are generally held seven to 10 days prior to being emailed to the client. This time frame allows adequate time for the Shopper to receive follow up by phone, mail or email from the Leasing Professional and record it on the Shopping Report. Any follow up by the Leasing Professional will be included in the online report. Ellis has developed an automated system for tracking and controlling follow up received by each of our Shoppers. This system has reduced our follow up discrepancies to below 5%.
 
Of course, the report turnaround can be much quicker depending on the client’s needs.
